Since then we have built up a successful business which now employs over fifty staff and is open all day, every day. Our large fleet of vehicles deliver across Edinburgh, the Central Belt, the Borders and Fife. At Mark Murphy we pride ourselves on supplying premium quality fruit and vegetables to many of Scotland's top restaurants, hotels, health clubs and other catering outlets. We provide an enormous range of products from everyday fruits and vegetables through to a surprisingly broad range of exotics. And to save you time we can supply a comprehensive selection of pre-prepared products. Where possible we source local produce but when necessary we import some of the more specialist produce from Holland, France and other European countries. Our buyers are in regular daily contact with British and European markets. Wherever our produce is sourced you can be sure that we've made every effort to bring you the best and freshest possible ingredients at the most competitive price. Our enthusiastic sales team have a great deal of experience as well as a comprehensive understanding of the catering trade's requirements. Because we understand the catering trade, we deliver six days a week, with a back up supply on Sundays to local areas. We have a full traceability programme for all our produce. All produce is visually and temperature checked on arrival at our depot and again before departure.
